Visas Uzbekistan

You will need a visa (Business or Tourist) for Uzbekistan unless you are a citizen of: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia or Ukraine.

Remember to give yourself enough time to obtain your visa; depending upon your nationality this can take up to 4 weeks.

To obtain your visa you are required to provide the following documentation:

1. Visa Support Letter (Invitation)

A Visa Support Letter is not required by citizens of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland or the USA provided you apply for the visa in your country of citizenship.

Citizens of all other countries require a visa support letter for Uzbekistan

We can obtain this document for you. It takes 5-7 days for most nationalities; those applicants with passports from the Middle East & SE Asia take 15-18 days.

Please refer to our on-line order form for our rates.

2. Two completed application forms.

3. Your original passport with at least two blank visa-designated pages (passport must be valid for the duration of your stay in Uzbekistan)

4. Two recent passport-type photographs.

5. Any other documents that may be needed by your particular consulate – check with them.

HOW YOUR VISA SUPPORT IS DELIVERED TO YOU

Once we have your VSL details and confirmation number it will be emailed to you. The MFA in Tashkent, (or one of the departments of the Ministry located in Nukus, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva). will then authorise your chosen Consulate to issue your visa. Please check with this Consulate that they have received your confirmation number before applying; only once this authority has been received by them can you then apply for your visa.
